Unaware that this is a part of an experiment Shaunak is conducting to prove his sociological theory, she sees this as an opportunity to achieve her dream and accepts it. Shaunak gives her the status of a family member which infuriates his family but Shaunak always stands strongly behind her. As the metamorphosis starts, Manju falls in love with him however for Shaunak, she is only the apparatus of his experiment. Manju is heartbroken and furious when the truth reveals and leaves. Realising his feelings for Manju, Shaunak apologises and tries to create a space in her heart.
